Frequently Asked Questions
Everyone has questions about what to expect with a photo shoot. Read more for some answer to common questions.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Glad you asked! I’ve got a complete pricing page with all of the information on my session fees and product pricing HERE
Q: Are outfits provided?
A: While I do have a small but growing wardrobe collection that you can borrow from, I do recommend bringing at least 5 outfits for us to choose from to add variety to your shoots. During your consultation you will receive a “What to Wear” guide with inspiration so you can make sure to bring a great selection.
Q: Is hair and makeup provided?
A: Absolutely! The makeover is most women’s favorite part of the shoot. You get to relax and get all dolled up for the day. You and I will plan the perfect look together and a licensed cosmetologist will bring it to life.
Q: How long do sessions last?
A: You’ll sit back with wine or mimosas and hors d’oeuvres during the hair and makeup portion, which takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Once you’re finished with the makeover the shooting part lasts about two hours. You’ll have so much fun that the time will just fly by!
Q: Can I bring a friend? Is anyone else present during a shoot?
A: You’re welcome to invite a girl friend to accompany you during your photo shoot. Having a friend there makes it more fun! During your photo shoot there may be a hair and makeup stylist in the studio with us to help touch up hair and makeup along the way. My boudoir shoots are ladies only though so my clients are comfortable during their shoot.
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: My studio is located in College Station. On occasion, I am also able to shoot on-location around the Bryan/College Station area. For those of you outside of BCS, I can travel with a travel fee.
Q: Do you retouch images?
A: I have to admit that all of my photographs do have some amount of retouching, although I try to do as little retouching as possible. I use expert posing and lighting to make sure that your shape looks great and professional hair and makeup artists to make sure that your skin looks flawless.
Q: How long does it take to get my images back? What’s the turnaround time for my products?
A: We will meet up approximately one week after your photo shoot for you to proof and order your portraits. You will be able to take your folio box with your matted prints home the day of your portrait reveal. Your canvases will be beautifully delivered to you about two weeks after your portrait reveal.
